The city of Quebec celebrates 400 years (1608-2008):

Maestro Yoav Talmi conducted 'Carmina Burana' on August 25 at an outdoor concert on the Plaine d'Abraham in front of 60,000 spectators! On stage, before the concert commenced, Maestro Talmi was awarded the Quebec-City Medal, honoring his special contribution to the anniversary celebrations. (Photos of the event enclosed)
